The National Education Trust (NET) is a Registered Charitable Organisation (CAIN100-142C) and an agency of the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth & Information (MoESYI). NET builds and manages relationships with donors and investors to acquire essential educational resources and improve school infrastructure at all levels across Jamaica. Through collaboration with the Jamaican diaspora and local and international stakeholders, the organisation delivers transformative support to underserved areas within the education system, expanding access to quality education and learning opportunities.
Since its establishment in 2010, NET has earned a strong reputation for efficiency, accountability, and adherence to high quality standards. The organisation consistently satisfies both donors and beneficiaries through effective coordination and cost-efficient project delivery. NET remains committed to partnering with philanthropic individuals and organisations to ensure that underserved communities meaningfully benefit from their generosity and goodwill.
We manage the design, construction, and equipping of educational institutions across Jamaica, ensuring transparency and efficiency in every project we undertake.
We build relationships with donors and investors, acquire resources to improve infrastructure and meet other educational needs, while engaging communities, for the benefit of our children.
To be the premier facilitator of investments for education in Jamaica.
TREND is the Ministry of Education & Youth’s comprehensive transformation programme. NET plays a pivotal role in the infrastructure pillar, ensuring schools are physically equipped for 21st-century learning.
